Van Gogh Imperial Fritillaries in a Copper Vase – Blue. Van Gogh painted many still life pictures of flowers over his career. This one was painted in Paris around 1887 and indeed the original is still there in the Musee d’Orsay. The scarf is more vibrant than the original but the brighter background certainly makes the flowers stand out. Stunning.
